Dr. Jacklyn Sanders is an Assistant Professor of the Practice and Extension Specialist with expertise in community nutrition, health education, and public health outreach. Her work focuses on increasing awareness and early detection of congenital heart defects in adults through community-based education and engagement. Drawing from her research and real-world experience, Dr. Sanders developed the Rhythm of the Heart™ curriculum to equip educators and professionals with the tools needed to deliver impactful heart health programming.
